freeBoundary — Return boundary edges for a DelaunayTri triangulation.

freeBoundary(dt) returns an M-by-2 one-based edge list for edges used by only one triangle in a 2-D DelaunayTri object.

How freeBoundary works

  • Accepts DelaunayTri objects from the legacy constructor.
  • Returns one-based vertex indices sorted deterministically by edge.
  • Returns a 0-by-2 tensor for empty triangulations.
