dictionary — Create a key-value dictionary object.

dictionary(keys, values) creates a dictionary object with cell-backed Keys and Values properties. Alternating key/value pairs are also accepted.

How dictionary works

  • Keys and values must have the same number of elements.
  • String, numeric, logical, char, and cell collections are expanded into element lists.
