isordinal — Return true for ordinal categorical objects.
isordinal(A) returns true when A is a categorical object whose Ordinal metadata flag is true.

How isordinal works
- Ordinal categorical objects created by
ordinalorcategorical(..., 'Ordinal', true)return true. - Nominal categorical objects and non-categorical values return false.
