namelengthmax returns the maximum number of characters allowed in MATLAB identifiers. RunMat reports 2048, matching current MATLAB behavior.

How namelengthmax works
- Accepts no input arguments and returns a double scalar.
- The shared identifier validator uses the same value for
isvarname,genvarname, struct field-name validation, and argument-validation helpers. - Identifiers longer than
namelengthmaxare rejected byisvarnameand repaired or truncated by compatibility helpers that generate names.
