version returns the RunMat crate version. version('-release') returns RunMat's advertised MATLAB compatibility release string.

- No arguments returns the RunMat package version.
'-release'returnsR2023bfor compatibility branching.'-description'returns a human-readable RunMat description.'-java'returns an empty string because RunMat does not embed MATLAB's Java runtime.
