bilstmLayer — Create a bidirectional LSTM layer compatibility object.

bilstmLayer(numHiddenUnits) creates metadata for bidirectional LSTM layers.

Syntax

layer = bilstmLayer(numHiddenUnits)
layer = bilstmLayer(numHiddenUnits, Name, Value)

How bilstmLayer works

  • numHiddenUnits must be a positive integer.
  • OutputMode defaults to last and can be overridden with a name-value option.
  • Common recurrent-layer options are preserved as properties.
