bilstmLayer — Create a bidirectional LSTM layer compatibility object.
bilstmLayer(numHiddenUnits) creates metadata for bidirectional LSTM layers.
Syntax
layer = bilstmLayer(numHiddenUnits)
layer = bilstmLayer(numHiddenUnits, Name, Value)How bilstmLayer works
numHiddenUnitsmust be a positive integer.OutputModedefaults tolastand can be overridden with a name-value option.- Common recurrent-layer options are preserved as properties.
GPU memory and residency
Layer construction is host metadata work and has no provider kernel.
Example
Create BiLSTM Layer
layer = bilstmLayer(32, 'Name', 'bilstm')Expected output:
Bidirectional LSTM layer compatibility object.Using bilstmLayer with coding agents
Open a RunMat example with live inputs, then ask the agent to explain how bilstmLayer changes the result.
Run a small bilstmLayer example, explain the result, then change one input and compare the output.
