lstmLayer — Create an LSTM layer compatibility object.

lstmLayer(numHiddenUnits) creates metadata for LSTM recurrent layers.

Syntax

layer = lstmLayer(numHiddenUnits)
layer = lstmLayer(numHiddenUnits, Name, Value)

How lstmLayer works

  • numHiddenUnits must be a positive integer.
  • OutputMode defaults to last and can be overridden with a name-value option.
  • Common recurrent-layer options are preserved as properties.

Layer construction is host metadata work and has no provider kernel.
