missing — Create missing string scalars or arrays.
missing creates a scalar containing RunMat's canonical MATLAB missing string sentinel, <missing>. The documented MATLAB function accepts no input arguments.

How missing works
missingreturns a 1-by-1 missing string scalar.missing(n),missing(m,n,...), andmissing(sz)are gated RunMat conveniences rather than documented MATLAB forms.- RunMat extension size controls accept all eight integer classes and are checked exactly against nonnegative host allocation limits.
- MATLAB-compatible mode rejects any supplied argument before gathering or provider lookup.
- The result uses
StringArraystorage and displays each element as<missing>.
