fileattrib — Return filesystem attribute metadata for a path.
Return filesystem attribute metadata for a textual path. Numeric and integer inputs are inapplicable. RunMat currently exposes only the subset representable by the active filesystem abstraction; complete MATLAB user/group/other permission, wildcard, recursion, and setter-output semantics remain implementation gaps.

Returned values from fileattrib depend on how many outputs the caller requests.
How fileattrib works
- Accepts host string scalars, scalar string arrays, and character row vectors for the path and textual controls.
- Reads file metadata and returns status plus an attribute struct containing Name, hidden, directory, and user/group/other permission flags.
- Supports common writable flag mutation with +w and -w through the active filesystem provider.
- The current read-flag no-op and synthesized permission fields are implementation limitations, not claims of complete MATLAB compatibility.
