Inputs

outputfolderStringScalarNoDestination folder.

How gunzip works

  • Decompresses scalar file paths, string arrays, and cell arrays of gzip file paths.
  • Supports HTTP and HTTPS gzip URLs through the shared RunMat HTTP transport.
  • Writes decompressed files beside local inputs by default or under the supplied output folder, and returns a cell array of output paths.

Using gunzip with coding agents

Open a RunMat example with live inputs, then ask the agent to explain how gunzip changes the result.

Run a small gunzip example, explain the result, then change one input and compare the output.
